The Bible Book By Book

This book originally formed part of the EP ‘The Guide’ series and has been out of print for some years. Repeated requests have resulted in this new edition. Ideal for anyone interested in the Bible, but wanting an overview of the Scriptures, this book is easy to read but imparts a lot of information in manageable chapters. It begins with a timeline of events from Israel’s return form Babylon through to the ministry of Malachi and and the end of the Old Testament. There are 52 chapters, beginning with an overview of the Bible as a whole and then working through the books of the Bible in the order in which they appear. For each book there are paragraphs dealing with authorship, purpose and structure, and then an overview. Each chapter concludes with questions for discussion. Groups can take a chapter a week and cover the Bible in a year, but this book is really helpful for individuals as well. Who doesn’t need to better understand God’s Word?
