Bells and Pomegranates

Bells and Pomegranates was first published in 1946 and that edition contained a collection of inspirational poems and songs written by a gifted poet; James M S Tait between 1926 and 1946. After his death in 1980 a large number of poems were found among his papers. Some had appeared in various Christian Magazine, but most had not been published. These additional poems were published in 1985 and this edition includes them. James Tait was a solicitor by profession and well-known throughout Shetland. He was a regular preacher and respected elder who met with believers at Ebenezer Hall, Lerwick.
